Melbourne expo biggest Aussie consumer show in five years

February 14, 2018

SPASA Victoria has hailed their Melbourne summer consumer show as the second-highest grossing pool and spa consumer show ever held.

Revenue raised was in excess of $920,000, just behind the highest revenue raiser – the 2013 Melbourne consumer expo at $932,000.

SPASA Victoria says this is a ringing endorsement of their strategic decision to commit to new event managers, the International Exhibition and Conference Group (IEC). As with last years’ event – the first run by IEC – the show featured an Outdoor Design Junction and Feature Garden, creating a central focus for the event, showcasing products and designs from Justine Carlile Landscape Design, Compass Pools, Waterco, Porta Mouldings, Anston Architectural, Lump Sculpture Studio, Yarrabee and Castlemaine Stone Solutions, Tuff Turf, Formboss, Warners Nurseries, Ocean Road Outdoor Furniture, and Coolabah Building & Landscape Construction.

Awards were also presented for the best stands:

Best Stand 36 sqm and Over: Winner – Hot Spring Spas (Fastlane); Finalist – Supreme Heating
Best Stand Under 36s sqm: Winner – Decorative Imaging; Finalist – ihealth Saunas
Best Outdoor Living Display: Winner – Mint Pool & Landscape Design; Finalist – Domo
Best Stand Display Booth: Winner – The Pool and Tile Company; Finalist – Oke Pool Fencing & Balustrades
Best Pool Builder Display Stand: Winner – PJ Pools and Spas; Finalist – Horizon Pools

The next Melbourne expo will be the Spa & Pool Show at MCEC (Winter Show) on August 11-12, 2018. Contact: Sam Palermo on 9596 9205 or sam@iecgroup.com.au.
